Six Nations Rugby: England v Italy
England will be aiming to get their campaign back on track after defeat to Wales in Cardiff in February. Italy have not won a Six Nations match since 2015 and are unlikely to change that state of affairs against a powerful England team.

Premier League: Manchester City v Watford
Watford find themselves in reasonable form as the tailend of the season approaches with some good wins putting them comfortably into mid-table. The earlier fixture between these two sides ended 2-1 in City’s favour.

Premier League: Arsenal v Manchester United
This should be a fascinating tactical battle given how close these sides are in the Premier League table. The last League encounter resulted in a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford in December but both sides have improved massively since.

Tuesday, March 12
8pm
BT Sport
UEFA Champions League: Manchester City v Schalke 04
A late first-leg turnaround by City saw them come from behind to beat Schalke 04 by 3-2, Raheem Sterling slotting a 90th-minute winner in sensational style. The Sky Blues are clear favourites to progress to the quarter-finals, their first leg victory making it seven wins from their last eight matches against German clubs stretching back to a 1-0 loss at Bayern Munich back in September 2014.

Wednesday, March 13
8pm
BT Sport
UEFA Champions League: Bayern Munich v Liverpool
There really is everything to play for in this Round of 16, 2nd leg tie following the earlier nil-nil draw at Anfield in the 1st leg. This is delicately poised in terms of history with both Liverpool and Bayern each having five European titles to their name - Liverpool’s last triumph coming back in 2005 in Istanbul and Bayern Munich’s taking place in 2013.

Saturday, March 16
12.30pm
Sky Sports Premier League
Premier League: Manchester United v Manchester City
One of the great derby battles of world sport as the football-mad city divides into its blue and red constituencies. United have had to live in the shadow of their local rivals in recent years but the passion of this game could well see the form book well and truly ripped up.

Saturday, March 16

Six Nations Rugby: England v Scotland
There is certain to be plenty of drama served up in the last round of the 2019 Six Nations and you can almost guarantee that the destination of the title will not be decided until the final whistle of the final game. England, Ireland and Wales are all in the hunt for silverware and that should make for a pulsating day of rugby action.
