Sky Sports announce live Championship fixtures for November/December

The focus is firmly on the battle for promotion in the Sky Bet Championship across November and December, with seven matches featuring the division’s in-form teams confirmed for broadcast live on Sky Sports.

Current Play-Off rivals Preston North End and Aston Villa will each be hoping to claim an important three points as they go head-to-head on Wednesday 1 November in a 7.45pm kick-off at Deepdale.

Sheffield Wednesday’s visit to Ipswich Town then follows the international break with kick-off confirmed for 7.45pm on Wednesday 22 November, just days before an important double header as Barnsley host Yorkshire rivals Leeds United in a lunchtime kick-off on Saturday 25 November and Birmingham City visit Bramall Lane to take on Sheffield United at 5.30pm.

The final match in November sees QPR host Brentford in a Monday night game on Monday 27 November.

The final two fixtures currently confirmed for December see Norwich City host Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday 9 December and Cardiff City travel to Reading the following Monday.

* Selections for the weekend of 1st to the 3rd December will be confirmed imminently. 


Throughout the course of the 2017/18 season, Sky Sports will exclusively show 127 live matches from the Sky Bet EFL season - including the Play-Offs - as well as 15 matches from the Carabao Cup and at least three from the Checkatrade Trophy.
