BT Sport announces festive live schedule

20th October 2017

Arsenal v Manchester United opens up a huge month of live Premier League action on BT Sport in December.

The cameras will be heading to the Emirates Stadium as Arsene Wenger will be hoping to follow up his maiden league success against long-time rival Jose Mourinho with another positive result for the Gunners.

The north London side won last year’s clash 2-0, a first win in 12 attempts for a Wenger side against the Portuguese boss, but will normal service resume when the two teams meet again?

Manchester United are back on our screens at the end of the month with their match against Southampton at Old Trafford exclusively live on Saturday 30 December, while Arsenal’s trip to the south coast to face the Saints on Sunday 10 December and their clash at the London Stadium against West Ham on Wednesday 13 December can also only be viewed on BT Sport.

Premier League leaders Manchester City also feature more than once during the month with Tottenham’s trip to the Etihad Stadium the game of the weekend on Saturday 16 December.

Just ahead of 2018, Pep Guardiola’s side travel to London as they take on Crystal Palace on New Year’s Eve at 12pm.

Premier League new boys Huddersfield take on last season’s champions, Chelsea, at the John Smith’s Stadium at 8pm on Tuesday 12 December, with Newcastle v Leicester City on Saturday 9 December and Burnley v Tottenham on Saturday 23 December rounding off a mammoth month of football on BT Sport.

Simon Green, head of BT Sport, said: “December and the Christmas period is always a busy time for football fans. BT Sport is showing a vast amount of live sport, including the biggest event in the cricket calendar, the Ashes and the culmination of the group stages in the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League. As ever, BT Sport will be showcasing outstanding matches in the Premier League with games featuring the title and European competition contenders.”
