Preview: A huge weekend of rugby action

There's a massive weekend of international rugby union action coming up with Wales, England, and Ireland all taking on Southern Hemisphere opposition.

 

South Africa A v England Saxons

England's second string take on their South African counterparts. The tourists won against the same opposition last week with fly-half Danny Cipriani in inspired form and will be looking for another victory here.

New Zealand v Wales - 2nd Test 
Saturday, June 18, 8.30am

Wales began brightly in last week's 1st Test but faded badly in the latter half of the game, the All Blacks hitting top form in the final 40 to record a 39-21 victory. The tourists face a massive challenge here as they seek their first win over New Zealand since December 1953.


Australia v England - 2nd Test

History beckons for England as they taken on Australia in the second game of their three-match series in Melbourne. Following their epic 39-28 win in the 1st Test in Brisbane, a victory here would mean England securing their first series win in Australia.

South Africa v Ireland - 2nd Test

Ireland are aiming to become the first home nation to win a test series in South Africa, having triumphed 26-20 in the first game in Cape Town last week. The Springboks have not lost a Test series at home in the past 19 years and have never lost a Test series to Ireland.
